School of Tomorrow (SOT) is a bilingual (German & English) day school with a future-focused, student-centered approach to learning. The school offers Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary education, with the IB Diploma Program launching in 2028.

SOT personalizes education to each child’s strengths, interests, and learning style, fostering intrinsic motivation, creativity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. The innovative curriculum blends Swiss and International educational standards with project-based, mixed-age learning, and a strong emphasis on core competencies and real-world skills.

The school community is welcoming, family-friendly, and supportive, encouraging both local integration and global perspectives.

Right in the heart of Zurich, in the Enge district, a historic castle now serves as the new location School of Tomorrow. The entire castle, including the park, is an inspiring home for SOT’s kindergarten children (1st and 2nd year of kindergarten, and primary school pupils (grades 1–6).

Sihlberg Castle was built in 1898 by the Hürlimann brewery family and is located at the highest point in Zurich’s Enge district. The building is a masterpiece of historicism, and combines elements of the French Early Renaissance as well as Late Gothic and Baroque styles.

With its own castle park surrounded by nature and overlooking the city, the castle offers an inspiring and almost magical learning atmosphere. The adjoining Klopstockwiese provides additional space for sport and exercise.

Thanks to its central location, the castle is easily accessible by both public transport and car.

  • A wide variety of learning spaces that can be used specifically depending on the project and work.

  • School of Tomorrow does not charge extra fees for childcare time before the start or at the end of the day. This means that the arrival and pick-up times can be chosen freely and spontaneously on any school day.

  • The school only closes for three weeks during the summer vacations and three weeks at Christmas/New Year. For the rest of the school year, SOT always remains open (except for public holidays).

  • The Schloss Sihlberg location kindergarten and primary school is located in a historic castle that feels like the magical school from Harry Potter- Hogwarts.
