School feature: Eastwood Montreux

Our School Feature Series is designed for parents exploring private and international schools in and around the Cantons of Basel, Zurich, Geneva, and Vaud. The aim of this series is to give parents a clear overview of each school’s programs, educational concept, and what makes each school unique.

We take a closer look at each school’s learning environment, facilities, and approach to supporting students both academically and personally. Each feature offers an insight into daily school life and highlights the elements that shape the student experience.

You’ll find the school’s admission contact at the bottom of this article, so feel free to reach out to them directly for more details.

In this post, we feature Eastwood Montreux International School.

Eastwood Montreux opens in September 2026 at Chateau d’Arvel in Montreux — A next-generation international school for students from Middle School through graduation. At Eastwood, students build genuine leadership and develop the judgement that defines what they are made of and what they contribute to the world.

Mornings are devoted to a full Cambridge IGCSE or IB academic program, delivered by world-class teachers and qualified IB educators and examiners, averaging 38.9 out of 45, among the strongest academic results of any IB school in the world.

Afternoons are IMPACT: a fully in-person program led by dedicated on-campus coaches, where students work on real-life cases and projects across six strands: Imagination, Movement, Planet, Action, Character, and Technologies. Real-life cases, daily mentoring, and guided reflection build a portfolio of genuine achievement across entrepreneurship, private equity, personal finance, family succession planning, sustainability, climate change, space exploration, emerging technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, the arts, leadership, longevity, and more.

Eastwood Montreux was built from a blank page. No legacy structures, no inherited compromises – just a clear answer to what a school should look like in 2026 and beyond.

The morning IB program is delivered by our online school. Afternoons are IMPACT: in-person, coach-led, and devoted entirely to entrepreneurial thinking, passion projects, and the life skills that prepare students properly for what’s coming. Eastwood’s 53 Leaders network connects every student to world-class visionaries, entrepreneurs, and artists — not as an occasional privilege, but as part of the program.

Additionally, the Juventus Academy Montreux brings official, licensed elite football training directly onto campus – approximately 15 hours per week for students, structured around the full academic timetable.

Eastwood is for families who know that exams alone don’t determine what their child becomes.

The school’s IB program delivers world-class academic results, IMPACT afternoons give students something rarer: structured time, every day, to discover what they love, think like an entrepreneur, and develop the self-awareness and resilience that define a remarkable adult.

The school is small and close-knit by design. Every student is known. And through the leaders network, every student has access to some of the most accomplished people in the world.

If families are forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, and globally-minded, Eastwood Montreux is for them.

At Eastwood, every student is known – by their teachers, their mentors, and the school’s leadership team. The school’s IMPACT coaches act as guides, supporting students with their passion projects.

Academic progress is monitored closely through the IB platform, with real-time insight for staff and families.

Wellbeing support is built into the structure of the day, not added on. For students navigating transition – new country, new culture, new language of instruction – the school provides dedicated onboarding support and ongoing guidance to help them settle, belong, and thrive.

For families in the Arc Lemanique raising global citizens, Eastwood Montreux offers a new category: academic excellence, real-world capability, and a deeply personal Swiss boarding experience.

Set within the historic Chateau d’Arvel on the shores of Lake Geneva, the campus includes modern classrooms, dedicated IMPACT studios, boarding accommodation, dining facilities, and outdoor terraces.

There are state of the art sports fields on site and students have direct access to the surrounding Alpine landscape, with Montreux town centre, the lake, and mountain terrain all within easy reach.

Students also benefit from weekly outdoor experiences in the Swiss Alps – hiking, skiing, and cultural excursions – building resilience, perspective, and a relationship with one of the world’s most extraordinary natural environments.
